ACEG Working Conference 2009 was held solemnly on February 15, 2009. Vice-governor of Anhui Province Mr. Huang Haisong, Director of State Property Management Commission of Anhui Province Mr. Gui Jianpin, Deputy Inspector of Department of Construction of Anhui Province Mr. Wang Maoxin came to congratulate the conference and gave important addresses. The leaders of ACEG, the managers from ACEG subsidiaries and constituent firms, more than 800 staffs attended the conference. The conference was hosted by Mr. Li Bing, the vice president ACEG.
Mr. Hu Yuncheng, the President and general manger of ACEG made a report in the conference named “strengthening our confidence, turning crisis into opportunities and ensure the steady and faster development of ACEG”. Mr. Hu concluded the work in 2008 and made a comprehensive assignment for the tasks in 2009 on the basis of the objective analysis of current circumstances.
Mr. Hu reviewed the past and summarized the work in 2008 in the report. The output value accumulated in 2008 totaled 10.78 billion yuan and exceeded 10 billion for the first time in the history. ACEG has realized the goal 2 years in advance that our output value exceeds 10 billion at the end of the 11th five years. The output value increased by 33% as compared with the last year. 100% of our projects come to the limit of qualification and more than 64.1% of projects reach the level of soundness. It is estimated that the profits and taxes totaled more than 410 million yuan. The gross assets increases by 10% and hits 5 billion yuan. We have signed contracts for 1072 projects and the total contract sum is 12.2 billion yuan.
In light of the coexistence of crisis and opportunities in 2009, Mr. Hu brought forward the guiding principles for the work in 2009 and also emphasized seven aspects in order to realize the goal in 2009.
Mr. Zhang Haiping, the Party committee secretary of ACEG, also addressed the conference and gave his opinions about the implementation of the mission in the report.
Director of State Property Management Commission of Anhui Province Mr. Gui Jianpin firstly acknowledged the achievements made by ACEG over the past year. And he also made some requirements for ACEG in order to smoothly fulfill the work plan in 2009.
Vice-governor of Anhui Province Mr. Huang Haisong also attended the conference. Mr. Huang said ACEG overcame all difficulties accumulated in the past years and realized the great leap forward development. And now ACEG has made a dramatic achievements and ACEG leaders and staffs should deepen the reform and carry forward the large scale strategic adjustment. Mr. Huang also emphasized that our national economy are being strongly impacted by the global financial crisis. Only the stronger can pass the severe test. Mr. Huang gave six demands so as to confront with the financial crisis and turn the crisis into opportunities.
